CRA open record gaps

A CRA duty file is not done until open record gaps are closed — role checklists show what is missing

Direct answer. Shopify Admin has no CRA product-role checklist that surfaces open record gaps before an Article 14 incident — you can keep notes in metafields or docs, but nothing tracks role checklists and open gaps against the product file. CRALedger tracks product roles, checklists and open record gaps so you see what is still missing before an incident clock starts.

CRALedger Duty Records (Shopify App Store) tracks product roles, checklists and open record gaps, Article 14 incident deadlines, encrypted ENISA SRP draft packs, vulnerability forwarding, and audit records. It does not file notifications on ENISA’s platform. This page is not legal advice.

Open gaps are the checklist job — not the ENISA pack

Encrypted ENISA SRP draft packs prepare a filing. Support-period dates and vulnerability forwarding are other slices. Open record gaps answer a prior question: which checklist items for this product role are still empty.

How to review open CRA record gaps

  1. Assign the product role (manufacturer, importer, distributor, or other role you track).
  2. Open the role checklist and mark completed items against the product file.
  3. Review open record gaps still listed for that product.
  4. Close gaps before you rely on Article 14 clocks or ENISA draft packs.
