CLP EUH statements list
EUH statements are the supplemental sentences Annex II prints, assigned under Article 25
Direct answer. EUH statements are supplemental label sentences. In the consolidated text of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, CELEX 02008R1272-20260701 (EN, 01.07.2026), Article 25 is titled “Supplemental information on the label.” Article 25(1) says statements shall be included where a classified substance or mixture has the physical or health properties referred to in sections 1.1 and 1.2 of Annex II, and that the statements shall be worded in accordance with those sections and Part 2 of Annex III. Article 25(6) says the special labelling rules in Part 2 of Annex II apply to mixtures containing the substances referred to in that Part, and that those statements shall be worded in accordance with Part 3 of Annex III. Article 25(2) points plant-protection wording to Part 4 of Annex II. The table below copies the EUH sentences Annex II still prints in that consolidation, including EUH208 and EUH210. When a statement applies is the section around it on EUR-Lex, not this table. This page is not legal advice.
CLPLens: CLP Hazard Display (Shopify App Store · Write a review) creates product hazard profiles with GHS pictograms and statements, reviews missing hazard fields before publishing, and syncs app-owned metafields for theme-block storefront display. It does not classify mixtures or decide that an EUH statement applies. This page is the Annex II sentence list — not classification and not the Article 17 checklist.

Checklist before you paste an EUH code
- Open Annex II on the 1 July 2026 consolidated text. The reference line on that text is 02008R1272 — EN — 01.07.2026 — 031.001.
- Read Article 25 for which part of Annex II the statement comes from. The Article 17 set that the supplemental section sits in is the label-elements checklist.
- Copy the sentence from the live annex. The table below is that consolidation’s wording, including the dash or colon and the full stop where Annex II prints them.
- EUH208 has its own page: Contains (name of sensitising substance). May produce an allergic reaction.
- An SDS link is not these statements. That split is an SDS download is not CLP hazard display.
EUH wording in consolidated Annex II (1 July 2026)
Annex II is titled “Special rules for labelling and packaging of certain substances and mixtures.” Part 1 is supplemental hazard information. Part 2 is additional hazard statements for certain mixtures. Part 2’s opening line in this consolidation says the statements in sections 2.1 to 2.10 and 2.12 shall be assigned to mixtures in accordance with Article 25(6). Part 4 is the plant-protection sentence. Amendment markers under section 1.1 show earlier lines as deleted. This table lists the EUH sentences the annex still prints. It does not restore a deleted code.

In that annex, EUH014 through EUH071 use an em dash before the quotation. EUH201 through EUH210 and EUH401 do the same. EUH211 and EUH212 use a colon. EUH204 and EUH205 place the full stop inside the closing quotation mark. EUH208 and EUH210 place the full stop after it. EUH211 and EUH212 place the full stop inside. The signal word on a classified label is a different element: Danger and Warning.
