Compostable and biodegradable are specific claim words — not a synonym for “eco”
Generic adjectives (“eco-friendly”, “green”, “sustainable”) are a different EmpCo / generic-claim job. Compostable and biodegradable name a disposal or breakdown pathway. When those words appear on product copy, treat them as claim wording to scan and cite, not as decoration. Pair this with dated evidence records when you keep a specific claim.

- Review each flag and the exact provision the scan cites.
- Rewrite, qualify, or drop wording you cannot support; keep dated evidence records for claims you publish.
