Dated evidence records

Finding eco-friendly wording is not the same as keeping dated evidence for a specific claim

Green Claims Guard (Shopify App Store) scans green marketing wording in your catalog and content, flags green-claim wording and names the exact provision it cites, and exports dated evidence records for review. It does not decide whether a claim is lawful. This page is not legal advice.

Scan finds the phrase; dated evidence is the review file

The generic green claims job is to find unspecialised wording and fix or drop it. When you keep a specific environmental claim on the product page, you also need a dated record of what you published and what supported it - for internal review, not as a court certificate. That is the dated evidence / substantiation-records job: scan, review cited flags, then export dated evidence records.

Sequence: scan -> cited flags -> edit or keep -> export dated evidence

  1. Scan catalog and content for green-claim wording.
  2. Review each flag and the provision it cites.
  3. Edit the claim on the product page, or keep a specific, supportable statement.
  4. Export dated evidence records for the claims you kept under review.
