Prop 65 warning question check

The short-form Prop 65 safe harbor that names at least one listed chemical applies to products manufactured and labeled on or after 1 January 2028 (OEHHA final regulatory text). By then a Shopify store using that short form on the product page should have included the chemical name in the warning: Prop 65 Warning Manager on the Shopify App Store.

Direct answer. Type what the product is and what it is made of, for example sofa, polyurethane foam, sold online. The page lists which Proposition 65 list names and which sections of Title 27 CCR Article 6 to read for that description, each as a question. It does not say whether a warning is required. It runs in your browser and sends nothing anywhere.

This is a reading aid, not legal advice and not what any app checks. To display Prop 65 warnings on product pages with your approval before anything goes live, try Prop 65 Warning Manager (Shopify App Store).

Where the questions come from

The page matches words in what you type. It cannot know the amount of any chemical, how it reaches a person, or whether an exemption applies, and Article 6 itself says it does not decide whether a warning is required (section 25600(a)). Read the sources: the Proposition 65 list, the law and regulations and p65warnings.ca.gov.
